1. Sign up for a free Gmail account if you do not already have one at:

Your Gmail account will also give you a free Google Drive account, which allows you to store up to 15GB for free. Once logged in to your Gmail, you will also be logged into your Google Drive, which can be accessed at:

2. In your Google Drive, make a separate folder with each piece you wish to submit titled with your full name, and your piece's title. For example:

Each folder should contain a professional photo of you, your score (PDF) and recording (MP3 preferred, video accepted). Before you upload your files, please make sure they are in a non-zipped/compressed format, allowing them to be played/viewed within the folder. If you do not have a live recording, MIDI is fine. It is possible to apply without any recording, but it is helpful to include one when possible.

3. Once all materials are in your folder and correctly labeled, share the folder with the Email address:

Once you share the folder with the email above, it will show up in our "shared with me" section in our Google Drive, which will only be accessible by our selection committee.

4. After sharing your materials, please go back to our application page ( to complete our application form and submit an application fee. If you are applying with multiple pieces, you need to submit an additional application form and $30 for each piece/application. You will also be asked for a sharable link to your Google Drive folder in our online application; please send the “read only” link so changes can be made only by you.
